When I was 12 years old, I was waiting in line at the grocery store when a lovely lady walked up to my mum and told me about my potential to be a model. As it turned out, she was an executive with Chadwick Model Management and though I did not know it at the time, this began the journey that would take me from Melbourne to Los Angeles to many places around the world had begun.

After a few years of test shoots, “go sees” and learning to walk on a runway, I booked my first job at the age 15; a 6-page spread in Dolly magazine. Throughout high school, I managed to balance my school work with a series of wonderful opportunities from magazines like Dolly, Girlfriend, Marie Claire, Cleo, and Vogue to the catwalk in Australian fashion week in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as several commercials and a small role in a TV show called Breakers.

I will always be grateful to Helene from Chadwick’s and to Steve Chamberlin for seeing my picture on the wall and encouraging me to come to LA.
