Meet Jacqueline

I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and grew up in a beach town called Mona Vale just north of the city of Sydney.

I began modeling at age 12 and, after graduating from high school, moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career as a model/actress. In 2003, I went to a yoga class and this is where I met my beloved Govind Das (Ira Rosen) I knew from our first date that he would be my life partner and we married in 2005 on the Island of Maui. During this time we were blessed to visit one of our teachers Ram Dass. I told him I was feeling the desire for a spiritual name… “Ahhh you must be Radha,” he told me. For years, most people have called me by this divine name. It has been an honor and I will always cherish and hold this name close to my heart, but now I am choosing to return to my birth name Jacqueline.

Though at the time my acting and modeling career were rapidly progressing, I began to increasingly struggle with loving myself and my body. I paused my acting/modeling career and began to focus on healing and learning to love myself. I became immersed in the study of yoga, traveled to India several times, and began to teach Yoga throughout Southern California.

In 2009, my husband and I launched Bhakti Yoga Shala in Santa Monica. For 11 years, we served a great community. We elected to shift from a traditional physical studio format into an online studio to ensure that the core practices of Bhakti Yoga - love and devotion would continue as our community found its way through the Pandemic.

Govind Das and I currently host weekly offerings in Topanga Canyon, California as well as online classes (yoga and kirtan), and annual yoga retreats in several places around the world.

Presently I am working on a new album that will be released in January 2023 with 13 original songs written with the intention to uplift and inspire. My music will also be featured in “Love Wild”an unconventional biopic feature film based on the life of Mary Pickford directed by Jennifer DeLia coming out 2023.

We live on the California coast with our two children.
