About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Michelle is a SAG-AFTRA actress, singer-songwriter, and member of The Recording Academy, as well as a yoga teacher, whose life journey has been shaped by devotion, transformation, and creative expression. Born in Melbourne and raised in the beachside town of Mona Vale, just north of Sydney, Jacqueline began modeling at the age of 12. After graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and modeling, building a career across film and television.

In 2003, a single yoga class changed the trajectory of her life, introducing her to both the path of Bhakti Yoga and to her beloved husband. The two were married in 2005 on the island of Maui.

While Jacqueline’s career in entertainment was thriving, she began to face inner challenges around self-worth and body image. Choosing to step back from the industry, she devoted herself to deep healing, traveling to India, immersing in yogic studies, and ultimately becoming a teacher herself.

In 2009, Jacqueline and her husband founded Bhakti Yoga Shala in Santa Monica, which quickly became a vibrant spiritual hub in Southern California, offering classes, kirtans, and community gatherings rooted in love and devotion for over a decade.

As a musician, Jacqueline has released five mantra albums since 2005, along with original music including her EP Sun Child and singles I Am Woman and Beloved, weaving together devotion, presence, and heart-opening soundscapes.

After losing their home in the 2025 Pacific Palisades fires, Jacqueline and her family spent months traveling, creating, and sharing music around the world. Now based in San Diego, Jacqueline has returned fully to her first loves, acting and music, and is excited for this next chapter.
